Power Supply Units

This section refers to the remote powering of the PPAC, PIN1 and PIN2. It is possible to have all detectors powered up by the HV supply in the vault. Remote powering from DATA-U2 can be established by connecting the HV cables of the detectors to a distribution box that runs through the building. Corresponding labels exist on both edges of the lines.

The same distribution box also has signal-transfer lines. Signals that are transfered are the following: PIN1_E and PIN1_T, PIN2_E and PIN2_T and rf. The HV-Supply units are dual-output, TENNELEC TC953A.
