Time-projection chamber to be used in conjunction with the SAMURAI spectrometer at RIKEN to measure pion ratios in heavy-ion collisions.
Active-target time-projection chamber which will be used in the new NSCL reaccelerated beam area, as well as other NSCL beam lines.
Neutron detectors with large solid-angle coverage, for use in experiments to constrain the nuclear equation of state.
High-resolution array of Si/CsI telescopes for charged particle detection and indentification.
The SAMURAI time-projection chamber will be installed in the SAMURAI spectrometer at the Nishina Center for Accelerator-Based Science at RIKEN in Japan. The TPC will be placed within the field of the dipole magnet, which has 7 Tm bending power.
The TPC design is based of the EOS TPC, designed at Lawrence Berkeley Lab, and later used at Fermi Lab.
