The schematic of the LEBIT facility, shown below, lists the major components of the facility that currently exist or are under development. Beams are delivered from the gas stopping facility via the beam line on the left, or from the two stable ion sources. The beams are cooled and bunched by a RFQ beam cooler and buncher for delivery to one of the two Penning trap mass spectrometers.
